This quiet stretch of the Columbia River was once the site of a great set of rapids. The fertile salmon runs brought native Americans to fish, trade, and party to this site for thousands of years. It is a place that called to me in a very personal way the first time I saw it. I did not know its historical significance until long after making this painting. $300.00 Neither framed nor matted.
